As a Security Guard - Front Entrance Screening in Chino, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Screener at a busy logistics and distribution location, you will greet associates and visitors, conduct entry screening, and support access control while keeping a strong, visible presence. You will complete routine patrols, document security-related activity, and communicate clearly with site leadership to help reduce incidents. Requirements
- MUST HAVE VALID AND CURRENT CA. GUARD CARD & TRAINING CERTIFICATES!
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
- Screen employees, visitors, and contractors during entry and exit using approved methods such as checking identification, verifying access authorization, and conducting package or property inspections as directed by post orders.
- Monitor entry points and screening equipment, maintain access logs and/or screening records, and report unusual activity or policy exceptions to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting events and communicating updates to appropriate contacts.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around designated interior areas, exterior approaches, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
