As an Allied Universal Security Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will support access control by checking IDs, managing visitor and vehicle entry, and maintaining accurate logs. This is a driving post, so you will also conduct vehicle patrols and respond to calls for assistance, helping to reduce security-related incidents through a visible presence and clear communication. Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors by following site-specific access control procedures and Allied Universal policies at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Control entry and exit at gates and/or lobbies by checking identification, verifying authorization, issuing visitor credentials, and maintaining visitor and vehicle logs.
• Monitor and acknowledge alarms, radios, and/or communications systems, escalating security-related concerns to site contacts and/or emergency responders as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting events and completing required reports.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around buildings, production areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.
