As a Security Guard - Access Control Driver in Travelers Rest, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents and provide exceptional service at a residential location. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to residents and visitors, and support a welcoming environment through strong communication and customer service skills. This is a driving post, so a valid driver's license is required. Requirements

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to residents, guests, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including access control at entry points.
Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of residents, visitors, and other persons to help to deter unauthorized access within the residential community.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and procedures.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the property and perimeter to help to deter suspicious activity and provide a visible security-related presence.
Report and document any security-related incidents, irregularities, or unusual situations according to site and Allied Universal guidelines.
Assist with emergency response activities when appropriate, coordinating with local emergency services as needed.
Communicate professionally with residents, guests, and property management to address questions and provide information related to access control and security-related matters.
