About The Position

Allied Universal is Currently Hiring a Full Time GSOC Security Officer for a Pharma Company in Lexington MA Wednesday - Sunday 11 PM - 7 AM Starting Pay is $26.00 Per Hour / Paid Orientation / Paid Training / Opportunity For Advancement Ideal Candidate has Customer Service Skills and Previous Alarm/Access Control Experience As a Security Officer - in Lexington, MA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Dispatch Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare setting, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and uphold a secure environment for staff, patients, and visitors. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence, and provide exceptional customer service and communication, reflecting our commitment to putting people first and acting with integrity. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and coordinate communications between internal staff, visitors, and emergency services as part of dispatch operations within a healthcare location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining communication with appropriate personnel.
  • Document and relay information regarding incidents, emergencies, and/or unusual activities to the appropriate contacts.
  • Assist in implementing site-specific security-related procedures and protocols, including emergency response activities when required.
  • Work closely with on-site personnel to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activities through prompt reporting and communication.
  • Provide customer service by addressing inquiries and assisting staff, patients, and visitors with security-related concerns.
  • Maintain accurate logs and records of all communications and incidents handled during the shift.
