Job Description Allied Universal is Currently Hiring a Full Time Security GSOC Officer for a Pharma Company in Cambridge MA Sunday, Monday, Thursday 3 PM - 11 PM and Tuesday 11PM - 7 AM Starting Pay is $30.00 Per Hour / Paid Orientation / Paid Training Candidate is Required to Have 1+ years of Previous GSOC Experience As a Security Officer - in Cambridge, MA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Dispatch Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and support a secure environment for all. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to the public, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements

  • At least one year of security-related experience is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Loss prevention experience is preferred.
  • CPR and/or first aid certification is preferred.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • Comfort with using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and operate communication systems to coordinate responses to incidents and emergencies at the healthcare location.
  • Receive and relay information regarding security-related incidents, alarms, and emergencies to appropriate personnel and/or authorities.
  • Maintain detailed logs and records of all calls, incidents, and dispatch activities as required by site-specific policies.
  • Assist in the implementation of site-specific procedures and protocols related to security-related and emergency response activities.
  • Provide customer service by assisting staff, visitors, and/or patients with inquiries and directions as needed.
  • Communicate in a calm and professional manner during critical situations, helping to facilitate problem-solving and timely response.
  • Support Allied Universal team members by providing accurate and timely information during routine operations and emergency situations.
