Join Allied Universal at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will support access control, assist with badge processes, and use computer and/or tablet tools to document activity. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Have X-Ray screening experience preferred.
• Have access control and/or badge experience preferred.
• Have customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting events and communicating updates to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the distribution facility, yard, and perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Control access at employee, visitor, and contractor entry points by verifying identification, issuing badges when required, and directing arrivals to the appropriate check-in areas.
• Support dock and gate operations by monitoring inbound and outbound truck traffic, verifying shipment and/or trailer information when required, and observing loading areas for unusual activity.
