As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a utilities location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will observe, document, and communicate concerns, support access points as needed, and deliver customer-focused service with clear communication. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by following post orders, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a utilities location.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, yards, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify maintenance and/or security-related concerns.
• Monitor alarms, cameras, and other utility site systems as assigned, and report irregular conditions according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating notifications to site contacts and/or public responders when required.
• Complete shift logs and incident reports with clear, accurate details, and communicate observations and handoff information to the next shift and/or site management.
