As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a tech, media, and/or telecom location, you will monitor assigned areas and conduct routine foot patrols, keeping a visible presence that helps to reduce security-related incidents. You will document activity, communicate clearly with site contacts, and support a welcoming environment through strong customer service. Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Have at least 1+ years of security-related experience.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a tech and/or telecom location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, contacting site leadership and/or emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unwanted activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity as assigned, verifying credentials and directing employees, contractors, and/or deliveries according to site procedures.
• Complete required shift documentation such as patrol logs, incident reports, and policy exception reports, and communicate notable conditions to Allied Universal supervision and/or client contacts.
