As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a leading aerospace and defense location, you will conduct routine patrols, stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and deliver strong customer service through clear communication and detailed reporting. Requirements

  • A minimum of 2 years of security-related experience is required.
  • Applicants must provide proof of a high school diploma and/or GED.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • A state, county, and/or city issued security license is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by following site-specific security-related procedures, access control requirements, and post orders at an aerospace and defense location.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, production areas, parking lots, and perimeter points, noting unusual activity or conditions that may help to deter incidents.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and/or credentials as required, assist with visitor processing, and document access activity in accordance with site policies.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including initiating notifications, supporting evacuations or shelter instructions, and coordinating with site contacts and/or public responders as directed.
  • Complete detailed reports and logs, communicate observations to supervisors and site representatives, and preserve incident details for follow-up and review.
