As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location, you will perform routine mobile patrols and perimeter checks, complete detailed activity reports, and help to identify and respond to security-related concerns. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license, with time spent on vehicle patrols and visible presence across the property. You will deliver exceptional customer service through clear communication and teamwork, always acting with integrity.

Requirements

• Be 21+ years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Have 5+ years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or contractors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, common areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or property concerns.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with access issues, disturbances, and/or alarm conditions per post orders.
• Monitor access points and observe site activity, verifying identification and/or credentials when required and directing visitors to appropriate destinations.
• Document patrols, incidents, and/or unusual observations in written reports and communicate updates to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
