As an Allied Universal Security Officer at a financial institution location, you will perform mobile patrols and visible presence checks to help reduce security-related issues, support access control, and assist employees and visitors with clear, professional communication. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license, with time spent moving between areas, documenting activity, and responding to needs with integrity, teamwork, and a people-first mindset.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or contractors at a financial institution location by following Allied Universal procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to site leadership and/or public emergency services as required.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of interior areas, entrances, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify security-related concerns, suspicious activity, and/or hazards for reporting.
• Monitor access points and control entry for authorized persons, verifying identification and directing visitors to appropriate areas in accordance with site requirements.
• Complete detailed reports for security-related incidents, patrol activities, and customer interactions, and communicate updates to supervisors and/or client representatives.
