As a Screener in a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. Your role involves conducting routine patrols and providing outstanding customer service and communication to all individuals on-site. Requirements

Must be at least 21 years of age.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the logistics and distribution location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and identify potential concerns.
Screen individuals, packages, and/or vehicles entering or leaving the premises to help to deter prohibited items and maintain compliance with site protocols.
Monitor access points and verify credentials of personnel and visitors to help to deter unauthorized entry.
Document and report any security-related incidents, irregularities, or suspicious activities according to Allied Universal and site procedures.
Operate security-related equipment and technology as required for screening and monitoring purposes.
