As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor entrances and exits, conduct routine patrols, and help to deter security-related incidents. You will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment while delivering outstanding customer service. This is a driving post, so a valid driver's license is required. Requirements

Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Willingness to work at locations with limited on-site facilities, such as portable toilets or a rustic guard shack, is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Monitor and control access to the logistics and distribution location, verifying the credentials of individuals entering and exiting the premises.
Provide customer service by assisting visitors, drivers, and employees with security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
Document and report any irregularities, incidents, or suspicious activity to the appropriate Allied Universal contacts.
Assist with emergency response activities as directed by Allied Universal and/or site management.
Maintain a visible presence to help to deter unauthorized access and promote a secure environment at the logistics and distribution location.
