As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned hospital areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. Your role will include providing exceptional customer service and communication to staff, patients, and visitors. Requirements

Applicants must provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
Applicants must comply with all hospital vaccine requirements.
Applicants may be required to work in hospital morgue areas.
Applicants may be required to restrain individuals as part of their security-related duties.
A guard card or license is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the healthcare environment.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and help maintain a secure environment for staff, patients, and visitors.
Document and report security-related incidents, hazards, and/or unusual occurrences according to established protocols.
Assist in guiding and/or directing individuals during routine operations and emergency situations as needed.
Collaborate with healthcare staff and Allied Universal team members to help to maintain a welcoming and secure atmosphere at the location.
