Job Description As a Security Officer - Financial Badge Specialist in Nashville, TN , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Access Control professional with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a financial institution, helping to deter security-related incidents while supporting a secure environment. You will manage access points, interact with employees and visitors, and provide outstanding customer service. Requirements

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.
• Comfort with using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Support security-related access control procedures at a financial institution location, verifying credentials and monitoring entry and exit points.
• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by following site-specific policies and procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the business premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Observe and report any unusual or suspicious activity as required by site protocols.
• Assist with emergency response activities when appropriate, coordinating with Allied Universal and/or location staff as needed.
