About The Position

DESCRIPTION: Duties: Execute security solutions design, development, and technical troubleshooting with the ability to apply knowledge of existing security solutions to satisfy security requirements for clients (e.g., product, platform, and application owners). Create secure and high-quality production code. Design, code, and test application programming in multi cloud environment. Perform software maintenance and improvements using knowledge of the application, data, and infrastructure architecture disciplines. Design and develop scalable applications for cloud. Proactively identify hidden problems and patterns in data and use these insights to drive improvements to coding hygiene and system architecture. Resolve high impact production issues and ensure smooth flow of business applications. Drive and select cost-effective security solutions. Implement best practices, new policies, and emerging trends to enhance the strategic roadmap. QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum education and experience required: Master's degree in Business Analytics, Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related field of study plus 3 years of experience in the job offered or as Security Engineer, Data Engineer, Software Engineer, IT Analyst, or related occupation. The employer will alternatively accept a Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related field of study plus 5 years of experience in the job offered or as Security Engineer, Data Engineer, Software Engineer, IT Analyst, or related occupation. Skills Required: This position requires three (3) years of experience with the following: designing with Java 8 and above, including features such as lambda expressions, streams, or multi-threading capabilities. This position requires any amount of experience with the following: working with Agile methodologies including Scrum and Agile ceremonies including stand-ups, retrospectives, and sprint planning to adapt to iterative development and continuous feedback; developing with Java programming; utilizing HTML, JavaScript, and JQuery for developing interactive and responsive web interfaces; developing applications in Spring Core, Spring MVC, Spring Security, and Spring Data for dependency injection, aspect-oriented programming; building microservices using Spring Boot, including its starters and auto-configuration; working with Object Relational Mapping (ORM) principles and the Hibernate framework to craft HQL queries and manage entity relationships; designing RESTful web services with Java Spring Boot, Spring, and JPA with REST principles; utilizing GIT for version control, branching, merging, and conflict resolution; deploying applications on Apache Tomcat server with Tomcat configuration and optimization; designing RESTful APIs using Swagger or OpenAPI; deploying applications on Amazon Web Services (AWS) with cloud-native application development and microservices architecture; monitoring application performance and troubleshooting issues; setting-up CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins; utilizing SQL queries, database design, and writing complex queries to optimize performance and work with relational databases such as Oracle or PostgreSQL; and writing and executing functional test cases and unit test cases using frameworks such as Mockito. Requirements
