Security Engineer [Multiple Positions Available]
About The Position
Duties: Execute security solutions design, development, and technical troubleshooting with the ability to apply knowledge of existing security solutions to satisfy security requirements for clients (e.g., product, platform, and application owners). Create secure and high-quality production code. Design, code, and test application programming in multi cloud environment. Perform software maintenance and improvements using knowledge of the application, data, and infrastructure architecture disciplines. Design and develop scalable applications for cloud. Proactively identify hidden problems and patterns in data and use these insights to drive improvements to coding hygiene and system architecture. Resolve high impact production issues and ensure smooth flow of business applications. Drive and select cost-effective security solutions. Implement best practices, new policies, and emerging trends to enhance the strategic roadmap.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Business Analytics, Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related field of study plus 3 years of experience in the job offered or as Security Engineer, Data Engineer, Software Engineer, IT Analyst, or related occupation. The employer will alternatively accept a Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related field of study plus 5 years of experience in the job offered or as Security Engineer, Data Engineer, Software Engineer, IT Analyst, or related occupation.
- 3 years of experience with designing with Java 8 and above, including features such as lambda expressions, streams, or multi-threading capabilities.
- Experience with Agile methodologies including Scrum and Agile ceremonies including stand-ups, retrospectives, and sprint planning to adapt to iterative development and continuous feedback
- Experience developing with Java programming
- Experience utilizing HTML, JavaScript, and JQuery for developing interactive and responsive web interfaces
- Experience developing applications in Spring Core, Spring MVC, Spring Security, and Spring Data for dependency injection, aspect-oriented programming
- Experience building microservices using Spring Boot, including its starters and auto-configuration
- Experience working with Object Relational Mapping (ORM) principles and the Hibernate framework to craft HQL queries and manage entity relationships
- Experience designing RESTful web services with Java Spring Boot, Spring, and JPA with REST principles
- Experience utilizing GIT for version control, branching, merging, and conflict resolution
- Experience deploying applications on Apache Tomcat server with Tomcat configuration and optimization
- Experience designing RESTful APIs using Swagger or OpenAPI
- Experience deploying applications on Amazon Web Services (AWS) with cloud-native application development and microservices architecture
- Experience monitoring application performance and troubleshooting issues
- Experience setting-up CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins
- Experience utilizing SQL queries, database design, and writing complex queries to optimize performance and work with relational databases such as Oracle or PostgreSQL
- Experience writing and executing functional test cases and unit test cases using frameworks such as Mockito
