About The Position

The Security Culture and Engagement Officer will play a pivotal role in shaping and nurturing a security-conscious culture across the organisation. This role involves developing and implementing strategies to promote security awareness, change behaviours, and foster a sense of shared responsibility for protecting information assets. The Officer will work closely with various departments to integrate security best practices into daily operations and decision-making processes.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive security culture program aligned with the organisation's overall security strategy.
  • Create engaging and informative security awareness campaigns, training materials, and communication plans to educate employees on security threats and best practices.
  • Conduct regular security awareness training sessions, workshops, and simulations to reinforce key security concepts and behaviours.
  • Collaborate with department heads and teams to identify security culture gaps and develop targeted interventions to address them.
  • Design and implement initiatives to promote positive security behaviours and encourage employees to take ownership of security risks.
  • Monitor and measure the effectiveness of security culture initiatives through surveys, assessments, and feedback mechanisms.
  • Analyse data and insights to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement in security culture and awareness.
  • Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on the progress and impact of security culture initiatives.
  • Stay informed about emerging security threats, trends, and best practices, and incorporate them into security awareness programs.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on security culture and engagement, providing guidance and support to employees at all levels.
  • Foster a collaborative and inclusive environment where employees feel empowered to raise security concerns and contribute to a culture of security excellence.
