About The Position

The Security Culture and Engagement Officer will play a pivotal role in shaping and nurturing a security-conscious culture across the organisation. This role involves developing and implementing strategies to promote security awareness, change behaviours, and foster a sense of shared responsibility for protecting information assets. The Officer will work closely with various departments to integrate security best practices into daily operations and decision-making processes.

Requirements

Proven experience in developing and implementing security awareness programs and initiatives.
Strong understanding of security principles, practices, and technologies.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute a comprehensive security culture program aligned with the organisation's overall security strategy.
Create engaging and informative security awareness campaigns, training materials, and communication plans to educate employees on security threats and best practices.
Conduct regular security awareness training sessions, workshops, and simulations to reinforce key security concepts and behaviours.
Collaborate with department heads and teams to identify security culture gaps and develop targeted interventions to address them.
Design and implement initiatives to promote positive security behaviours and encourage employees to take ownership of security risks.
Monitor and measure the effectiveness of security culture initiatives through surveys, assessments, and feedback mechanisms.
Analyse data and insights to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement in security culture and awareness.
Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on the progress and impact of security culture initiatives.
Stay informed about emerging security threats, trends, and best practices, and incorporate them into security awareness programs.
Serve as a subject matter expert on security culture and engagement, providing guidance and support to employees at all levels.
Foster a collaborative and inclusive environment where employees feel empowered to raise security concerns and contribute to a culture of security excellence.
