About The Position

Gen3 seeks an experienced Security Control Assessor to support our federal clients. The Security Control Assessor will have extensive experience working with Information Security Officers and Managers, be well versed and experienced in NIST RMF and CSF, and will hold at least one professional certification. The successful candidate will have significant experience in all phases of SCA execution, including Discovery, Assessment, Risk Validation, SCA Package Finalization, and obtaining sign-off from the Authorized Officer. Note: This is a remote position

Requirements

5 to 8 years of progressively responsible experience in information security, cyber risk management, or IT security operations.
At least 3 years of hands-on experience in system security analysis, vulnerability management, or incident response within a Federal Information Systems Security or equivalent enterprise environment.
Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
Previous experience supporting a federal government Agency/Department
Security+ CE certification.
A minimum of three (3) out of the past five (5) years of residency in the United States is mandatory.
Candidates must possess either an active green card or citizenship.
