Security Cleared Officer - Perimeter Patrol
About The Position
As a Security Officer - Perimeter Patrol Security Clearance in Clearfield, UT, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at an aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and remain highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will support access points and respond to reports, while providing professional customer service and clear communication to employees and visitors. Requirements
- Have 1+ years of security experience.
- Have an active DoD Secret clearance.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Nice To Haves
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by following site-specific access procedures, badging requirements, and/or delivery protocols at an aerospace and defense location.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, parking areas, and perimeter routes to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify hazards or maintenance issues.
- Monitor alarms, cameras, and other security-related systems as assigned, and document observations in daily activity logs and incident reports.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating notifications and/or assisting with evacuations and accountability procedures as directed.
- Control vehicle and foot traffic at designated points, verify credentials and/or authorization for entry, and report suspicious activity or policy violations to the appropriate parties.
