We are a Christian faith-based, non-profit organization with a rich and evolving culture seeking a Security and Facilities Manager to assist with the Receiving Hope Center. The Security and Facilities Manager is responsible for on-site security and facilities operations at the Receiving Hope Center (RHC), with oversight by the Program Coordinator. This position serves as a key liaison for all security and facilities needs, including supervision of relevant security personnel.

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree is required, preferably in a related field.
  • Minimum one year of related work experience.
  • Strong administrative and organizational skills with computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word and Outlook) and Google Workspace (Gmail, Google Calendar, and Google Docs).
  • Employment is contingent upon successfully completing pre-employment background checks, including criminal history, fingerprinting, and drug testing. Continued employment is subject to ongoing compliance with these checks.
  • Possession of a valid driver’s license is required and must be maintained throughout employment.
  • Documentation of references (at least two professional and one personal) that attest to the person’s capability of performing the duties of the position and to the person’s suitability of working with or around children and vulnerable populations.
  • Ability to lift objects up to 50 pounds and work for long periods at a computer.
  • Moderate local travel required related to program and training needs, as well as occasional travel beyond the metro Atlanta area.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and organize security-related monitoring, governance, and compliance for the program in accordance with Residential Child Care Licensing (RCCL) and Office of Provider.
  • Manage the security elements of the RHC, including equipment, systems, processes, and personnel.
  • Manage trash removal protocol and vendor relationships.
  • Manage relationships, scheduling, and effectiveness of any security support professionals
  • Support RHC leaders and behavioral health staff with crisis management and the participant milieu as needed to maintain safety for all on-site individuals.
  • Maintain and monitor security cameras.
  • Train other staff members on security-related best practices.
  • Maintain a professional resource network related to facilities, safety and security.
  • Complete a daily security walk-through checklist of the entire facility and maintain records.
  • Participate in on-call rotation with key lead staff.
  • Serve as point of contact for facilities management with service providers, including CGL.
  • Submit and oversee maintenance and work order requests, including maintaining records.
  • Operate and maintain basic office equipment and audio-visual equipment, assisting with basic technology support as needed.
  • Complete all required safety accreditations and drills in accordance with RCCL and OPM guidelines, including maintaining records.
  • Coordinate all vehicle maintenance and recordkeeping requirements.
  • Consult with Program Coordinator and Logistics Program Coordinator to suggest ways to improve facilities management.
  • Manage keys and key cards, including distribution system and recordkeeping
  • Manage two-way radios and maintain records.
  • Oversee organization and upkeep of all storage areas.
  • Order office supplies, hygiene and cleaning items, linens, and other facility needs as designated by the Program Coordinator.
