About The Position

This is an intermediate-level Security Analyst role serving as the first line of support for user access management within a large enterprise IT environment. The analyst will handle access provisioning, onboarding and offboarding requests, security compliance monitoring, and customer support related to system access and identity management. The role requires strong attention to detail, customer service skills, and the ability to follow documented security procedures while identifying opportunities for process improvement.

Requirements

  • Minimum 4 years of IT experience with exposure to: Systems analysis, Application development, Database design and administration
  • 1–2 years of information security experience
  • Working knowledge of security concepts, techniques, and risks across enterprise platforms
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities
  • Customer-focused mindset
  • Detail-oriented with a strong quality focus
  • Effective time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment

Responsibilities

  • Serve as first-level support for user access requests and security inquiries
  • Manage and maintain an Automated Access Request System
  • Create, update, and manage system access items within the access request platform
  • Collaborate with Security Coordinators to define and implement access controls
  • Perform quality assurance on access request data and system entries
  • Create and manage Active Directory (AD) groups to support access provisioning
  • Provision and de-provision users within AD groups and enterprise systems
  • Monitor service desk queues and resolve assigned security-related tickets
  • Review and analyze access records to ensure compliance with security policies and procedures
  • Maintain accurate security documentation, access records, agreements, and audit files
  • Assist with IT inventory tracking for assigned cost centers
  • Participate in team projects of varying size, scope, and duration
  • Attend operational and staff meetings as required
  • Adhere to and enforce organizational policies, procedures, and security standards
  • Lift up to 25 pounds as required
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
