Security Ambassador - Bike Patrol Rover
About The Position
As a Security Ambassador - Bike Patrol Rover in West Hollywood, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that may help to deter security-related incidents. You will interact with employees, visitors, and the public, respond to concerns, and document observations with clear communication. This role is a great fit for someone who enjoys staying active, providing strong customer service, and supporting a team that acts with integrity.
Requirements
- Be able to ride a bike.
- Be able to lift more than 20 lbs, preferred.
- Possess a guard card and/or license, preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting appropriate personnel and/or public emergency services as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the location, buildings, parking areas, and perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
- Monitor for unusual activity and policy violations to help to deter unwanted behavior, and communicate observations to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
- Complete timely documentation such as daily activity logs and incident reports, and assist with access control and visitor direction as assigned by post orders.
