The Security Officer safeguards property by patrolling the premises and monitoring for theft, violence, safety issues, and/or disturbances through observation and reporting. The primary responsibility of the position is to deter crime through an authoritative presence. If applying for a driver opening: REQUIREMENTS FOR SECURITY OFFICER/DRIVER: This assignment requires driving approval through company insurance. - Must be at least 25 years of age - Valid Texas DL of 3 years+ - No 'At Fault' accidents or tickets in the past 3 years - Complete and maintain all requirements for Level II Non-Commissioned Security Officer Registration - Pass Criminal Background screening per TX PSB - Flexible/ open availability - Customer service orientation - Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle crisis situations - Critical thinking and sound judgment - Able to communicate effectively in English, orally and in writing - Visual acuity to drive at night and hearing acuity to observe and otherwise obtain information.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Non-commissioned Security Officer
- If applying for a driver opening:
- Must be at least 25 years of age
- Valid Texas DL of 3 years+
