A Security Administrator will provide personnel security support to a government customer in a dynamic and challenging environment. Work Schedule: 5 days, 8 hrs/day; hours must fall within 6am-6pm M-F Essential Responsibilities: Security administrators will be assigned to a primary task team to include not limited to intake/distribution of clearance paperwork; data entry into customer system of record; case/task initiation; paperwork review for completion and content; clearance repository or other database checks; clearance verification tasks; liaison/reciprocity tasks; document review and redaction; records management and other security administration tasks as assigned. Work Environment, Physical Demands, and Mental Demands: Typical office environment with no unusual hazards, occasional lifting to 20 pounds, constant sitting while using the computer terminal, constant use of sight abilities while reviewing documents, constant use of speech/hearing abilities for communication, constant mental alertness, must possess planning/organizing skills, and must be able to work under deadlines. Minimum Requirements (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities): Required Skills & Experience: Demonstrated high level of personal integrity and ability to discreetly handle sensitive, personal and classified case information Ability to operate various corporate and customer specific automated systems for case tracking and status reporting Understanding of the federal rules and regulations that encompasses the clearance process Knowledge and ability to use computer operating systems/tools such as Microsoft Office Suite Ability to manage and prioritize multiple task assignments to meet deadlines Demonstrated ability to provide on-the-job training to new team members and colleagues Ability to provide a diverse range of administrative support functions such as maintaining records, updating records and data entry, redacting information, and protecting personal identifiable information Identify complex problems and reviewing related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions. Use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems
