Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
  • Valid driver’s license if driving a company vehicle, or personal vehicle while conducting business
  • Must possess a Department of Defense (DoD) position appropriate level security clearance (national security eligibility determinations take into account a person's stability, trustworthiness, reliability, discretion, character, honesty, and judgment)
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience in business operations, security management, or supervising teams in a fast-paced environment
  • Minimum 5 years of security experience with 2 years of leadership experience.
  • Requires a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in leading, developing, and retaining a dynamic team while building positive client relationships.
  • Project management experience.
  • Knowledge of emergency preparedness, physical security protocols, risk assessments, and law enforcement coordination
  • Proven ability to evaluate situations, make sound independent decisions, and resolve conflicts in an efficient manner
  • Proficiency in web-based applications and computer systems, including Microsoft Office
  • Ability to communicate effectively with clients and employees while managing multiple projects and driving operational excellence
  • Financial acumen; able to manage staffing levels while minimizing non-billed overtime and managing turnover costs; planning and organizing skills to control costs related to inventory (uniforms, equipment, etc.)
  • Detailed knowledge of Government/DoD/SAP/SCI requirements.

Nice To Haves

  • Law enforcement, military, and/or contract or proprietary security services, or facility management experience
  • American Society of Industrial Security (ASIS), International Certified Protection Professional (CPP) certification
  • Previous payroll, billing, or scheduling experience
  • Aptitude with security systems: CCTV, access control, and badge administration
  • Graduate of certified public safety academy (e.g., Law Enforcement, Firefighter/Paramedic, Corrections Officer)

Responsibilities

  • Manage scheduling: Leverage AI-powered technology to effectively schedule security officers, meeting client contract hours while minimizing unbilled overtime by developing and managing a staffing plan to site requirements.
  • Lead and Develop Security Teams: Hire, coach, and manage security officers and supervisors while overseeing payroll, performance, and employee relations, and working to develop/implement training programs.
  • Enhance Client Relationships: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring high-quality service that protects people and property. This role involves interaction with Buyer’s senior site management and interfacing with other Buyer’s departments (Facilities, HR, IT, etc.) to support meetings with Buyer’s personnel.
  • Handle Security Incidents and Emergencies: Respond to escalated issues professionally, coordinating with clients and internal teams
  • Direct Compliance and Security Operational Excellence: Oversee training, safety, and site operational standards, as well as manage inventory (uniforms, equipment, and other essential supplies), and overall manage all day-to-day operations of this contract, including developing corrective action plans to address deficiencies and dealing with site security compliance and customer service surveys.
