About The Position

The Senior Securities Services Operations Associate is a part of the Cash Processing team which provides operational support to both Institutional Custody and Corporate Trust departments. Within the Trust Operations environment, this team interacts with various internal partners to evaluate and process payment transactions and other duties as assigned. With our robust training to provide extensive UMB and financial knowledge, the Cash Processing team provides a high level of service to our internal & external partners. The Securities Services Operations Associate Seniors each have a specific and impactful function for our clients and UMB to ensure accurate processing requests. The Trust Operations team members are subject matter experts that assist our business partners by delivering a high level of performance in a fast-paced environment. The Senior Securities Services Operations Associate is responsible for processing a variety of duties. This role will focus on processing daily payments of wires, ACHs, and checks for Institutional Custody, requests in the group inbox, and time-sensitive reporting tasks. The Senior Securities Services Operations Associate will be expected to train other associates and use their knowledge to support other associates on the team with daily tasks. You can expect a fast-paced environment with unpredictable scenarios while maintaining flexibility and adaptability to client needs. How you’ll spend your time: You will need strong attention to detail to ensure payments are accurate and timely. You will need effective communication skills to make a positive client experience through our collaboration with client administrators. You will need proficient time management skills to ensure all time sensitive items are complete promptly.

Requirements

  • 2-3 years of financial services or banking experience OR a college degree
