About The Position

HireNow Staffing is conducting a confidential search for a Securities Litigation Associate Attorney on behalf of a nationally recognized Am Law 50 firm. This opportunity is reserved for attorneys with substantial securities litigation experience at top-tier firms who have demonstrated academic excellence and sustained performance. This role requires an attorney capable of operating in high-stakes environments involving complex securities class actions, derivative litigation, regulatory enforcement actions, and parallel government investigations. Only candidates meeting the strict required qualifications below will be considered.

Requirements

  • Graduate of a T14 law school (as defined in the original requirements).
  • Minimum 4+ years of securities litigation experience .
  • Prior experience at an Am Law 50 firm .
  • Active bar admission in New York or eligibility to waive in within 3–6 months.
  • Demonstrated experience handling securities class actions or SEC/DOJ investigations.
  • Strong academic record and writing ability.
  • Stable employment history with no pattern of short-term roles (no tenures under 1.5 years without clear justification).

Nice To Haves

  • Experience leading substantive portions of dispositive motion briefing.
  • Direct involvement in SEC enforcement matters or white-collar defense.
  • Trial preparation experience in federal court.
  • Exposure to matters involving technology, life sciences, or publicly traded companies.
  • Experience coordinating junior associates or managing discovery teams.
  • Advanced analytical skills in financial disclosures and accounting issues.

Responsibilities

  • Handle substantive responsibilities in federal and state securities class actions.
  • Draft and argue motions to dismiss, summary judgment briefs, and other dispositive motions.
  • Develop case strategy alongside partners for high-exposure matters.
  • Participate in trial preparation and support.
  • Assist in representing clients in SEC and DOJ investigations.
  • Support internal investigations involving accounting issues, disclosure matters, and fiduciary duty claims.
  • Analyze regulatory frameworks and advise clients on enforcement risk.
  • Manage document review strategy and privilege determinations.
  • Prepare and defend witness outlines for depositions.
  • Coordinate with expert witnesses and assist in expert report development.
  • Interact directly with corporate clients and in-house counsel.
  • Translate complex litigation risk into clear, actionable legal guidance.
  • Maintain responsiveness in time-sensitive and high-profile matters.
