About The Position
Centurion is proud to be the provider of comprehensive healthcare services to the Missouri Department of Corrections. We are currently seeking a full-time Secure Social Rehabilitation Unit (SSRU) Coordinator to join our team at Jefferson City Correctional Center located in Jefferson City, Missouri. The Secure Social Rehabilitation Unit (SSRU) Coordinator is responsible for providing administrative guidance and supervision to clinical and administrative staff and for collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate clinical needs and provide quality behavioral/mental health services within a mental health residential secure social rehabilitative unit in a correctional setting.
Requirements
- Masters level degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or related field from an accredited educational institution is required
- Active Missouri independent mental health license required. Accepted licenses: LPC, LCSW or Psychologist
- Must maintain current tuberculosis documentation and active CPR/AED certification
- Must be able to pass background investigation and obtain agency security clearance where applicable is required
Nice To Haves
- Supervisory experience in a state or county corrections facility is preferred
- Behavioral/mental health experience in a correctional and/or mental health residential treatment unit environment is preferred
