Customer activation specialist A leader in vehicle ecommerce, eBay Motors aims to be the source that consumers shop first when searching for cars, trucks, motorcycles, commercial trucks and other specialty vehicles. In this role, you are responsible for bringing buyers and sellers together utilizing the tools and services at your disposal. The process includes outreach to facilitate a buyers and sellers utilizing Secure Purchase. In addition, you will build relationships with eBay’s premium C2C vehicle sellers to help them grow their sales and GMV through Secure Purchase. As a Secure Purchase expert, you will assist other team members with transactions and at times act as a liaison between eBay and Caramel customer service teams.
Requirements
- Motors industry knowledge and experience
- Proficient communication skills
- Track record of task completion
- Self starter
- Detail oriented
- Located in Draper, UT 4-days a week (M-TH) in office with an option to work from home 1-day per week
Responsibilities
- Helping complete online transactions by opening the lanes of communication
- Calling, texting, and emailing the buyer and seller to educate them on how to complete Secure Purchase transactions
- Facilitate delivering GMV to the Motors Vehicles Category
- Interact with internal and external partners to realize opportunities
- Hone skills of communication in the Motors industry
- Premium seller engagement
- Coach and assist team members
- Become an expert in the various Secure Purchase/Caramel products and processes
- Problem solve when needed to deliver a positive buying and selling experience
- Provide feedback from buyer and sellers to help product and experience teams improve the site experience
