Primary Purpose PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION The Transmission Section Engineer of PHI T&S Engineering Development provides technical leadership in the planning, and design of projects involving Exelon's utility infrastructure including the underground and overhead transmission, and related systems. This role involves mentoring junior engineers and includes strategic planning, leading complex engineering studies, and ensuring engineering excellence across projects and operations within the section. Champions cross-functional collaboration and continuous improvement across engineering operations. Work can include Directing engineering studies and contributes to performance evaluations across the section / segment of responsibility, Setting priorities for safety, reliability, and regulatory compliance. Approving budgets, work packages, and technical specifications. Leading cross-functional coordination and external partnerships. Supervising field activities and ensuring resolution of complex issues May be required to work extended hours for coverage during storms or other energy delivery emergencies
