About The Position

CMHA-CEI is a Michigan Certified Bronze Level Veteran Friendly Employer and we encourage active military service members, veterans, and their family members to apply Responsibilities: Under the supervision of the Adult Mental Health Services Case Management Team 3 Coordinator, performs a variety of clerical duties requiring exercise of good judgment and knowledge. Daily ongoing consumer contact; receives, screens and routes telephone calls; schedules and maintains the appointment book for the physicians within the Medication Clinic, assists walk-in consumers and other visitors in ascertaining needs, explains departmental policies, procedures, and program operating guidelines, initiating necessary paperwork, and referring to appropriate staff. Additional duties include: typing, scheduling, and ongoing maintenance of consumer records and data entry.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or G.E.D. is required.
  • Two years secretarial experience or equivalent required.
  • Ability to type and pass a speed and accuracy test with 40 words per minute net required.
  • Must pass a Microsoft and Excel exam with a proficient score.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is required.
  • Ability to become proficient in CDT/CMH Reporter, the agency software that tracks statistical data, services rendered and bill for services is required.
  • Ability to communicate accurately and effectively both in writing and verbally is required.
  • Employment offers for this position will be contingent upon the results of a Michigan State Police clearance check.
  • Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screen.
