About The Position

BrightKey is seeking a reliable candidate to fill a Secretary-II position in Washington, DC. As a Secretary II, you will be responsible for providing administrative duties in a warehouse environment. The ideal candidate will possess excellent customer service skills and organizational skills and have prior professional experience in the secretarial and/or administrative field. Schedule, Benefits, & Compensation: Location: Washington DC (on-site) Pay is $23.86/hour plus $5.09/hour in health and welfare pay ($28.95) Shift is Monday through Friday: 8:00am – 4:30pm The above duty hours are subject to change Medical, Dental, & Vision Insurance Participation in company 401k program Paid Time Off Qualifications: Prior experience in the administrative and/or secretarial field. Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Excel. Prior mail and/or warehouse experience is preferred but not required. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Candidates must have or be able to obtain a Public Trust level Security Clearance. Key Responsibilities: Order supplies, equipment, and plaques. Ensure that administrative needs are taken care of for operational services. Empty recycle bins, shredder and assist in the troubleshooting of copiers and printers. Retrieve, review, and distribute mail correspondence to the appropriate leadership office. Prepare/Edit Bi-weekly Reports using Excel. Manage public comment line calls/Review voice mail daily/Respond to calls and messages from concerned citizens. Sort incoming mail and packages accurately and efficiently. Assist with other administrative tasks as assigned by the supervisor. Provide exceptional customer service. Requirements

  • Prior experience in the administrative and/or secretarial field.
