About The Position

This is a posting for Special Education/FA Teacher 2025-2026 school year. Job Description and Current Compensation plan are attached.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from accredited university
• Valid Texas teaching certificate for grade level content area with required special education endorsements for assignments
• ESL Supplemental endorsement (If you do not hold an ESL endorsement, you will be required to obtain it by March)
• Knowledge of special needs of students in assigned area
• Knowledge of Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) Committee process and Individual Education Plan (IEP) goal setting process and implementation
• General knowledge of curriculum and instruction
• At least one year student teaching or approved internship
