AIS teachers inspire students from diverse backgrounds to become courageous leaders in a culturally responsive and restorative learning environment. We are a team of innovative educators dedicated to creating inquiry-based learning that fosters critical thinking, problem solving, creativity, and intercultural understanding. At AIS, teachers ignite and sustain student curiosity by co-creating meaningful learning experiences that encourage students to apply their knowledge and skills for positive impact in their communities and in the world. Secondary School teachers uphold AIS’ Teaching Standards, Learning Principles, and Professional Standards while supporting students across a unified Grades 6 to 12 program. They collaborate with Group and Subject Leaders, IB Coordinators, Heads of Year, student support teams, and principals. This collaborative model strengthens the student experience through shared expertise, alignment of curriculum, and connection to AIS’ multiple pathways, including the IB MYP, DP and CP, AISx, and the AIS Impact Diploma. This is a full time position teaching Mathematics in the Secondary School. Course assignments may include a combination of middle and upper grades, with the possibility of DP courses depending on experience.
