About The Position

Meadowbrook Academy is currently seeking to hire a full-time Middle/High School Physical Education Instructor for the 26/27 school year. This individual should be an active and dedicated Christian who is, or willing to become, a member of Meadowbrook Church. A person who will hold in confidence matters of information that may be sensitive to the well-being of others. A person committed to excellence in their responsibilities. Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree from a regionally accredited educational institution.
• Certified OR working towards certification by the State of Florida.
• Knowledge of child growth and development, especially of characteristics of children in the age group assigned.
• Knowledge of current educational research.
• Basic understanding and knowledge o f current technology
• Knowledge of learning styles and skill in using varied teaching methods to address student learning styles.
• Skill in oral and written communication with students, parents, and others.
• Ability to plan and implement activities for maximum effectiveness.
• Ability to effectively assess levels of student achievement, analyze test results, and prescribe actions for improvement.
• Ability to maintain appropriate student supervision so that students have a safe and orderly environment in which to learn.
• Ability to work effectively with peers, administrators, and others.
• Level II Background Screening is a part of our hiring process.
