About The Position

We're looking for someone with 3-5 years of experience as a Secondary Humanities Teacher to join our educational community. This position requires a dedicated educator who is passionate about Classical Christian Education and skilled in creating an engaging, well-managed classroom environment. The ideal candidate will be comfortable teaching multiple humanities subjects, most importantly European and British literature and European history courses, while fostering critical thinking and character development in students. You'll work collaboratively with faculty to deliver a rigorous academic program rooted in classical pedagogy.

Requirements

  • Committed Christian with a solid Biblical worldview.
  • Familiar with Classical Christian pedagogy (Trivium) and committed to delivering lessons and assessments that are appropriate to the stage of learning.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain a joyful and disciplined classroom environment that engages students' creative gifts and talents.
  • Strong commitment to ongoing professional development.
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.

  • Classroom Management (3 - 6 years)
  • Agreement with Logos School’s Statement of Faith
  • Strong knowledge of earth science and physical science, and enthusiasm for teaching from a Christian worldview
  • A vibrant, personal faith in Jesus Christ as demonstrated by regular attendance at a Bible-believing and preaching church
  • A commitment to a creationist perspective, affirming the biblical account of creation
  • Agreement with Logos School’s Statement of Faith

Responsibilities

  • Design and deliver comprehensive lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and engage students according to their stage of learning (Trivium).
  • Assess student progress through various evaluation methods and provide constructive feedback to support academic development.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and administrators to create a supportive educational community and address student needs.
