Your Role Accountabilities: Warner Bros. Discovery, a premier global media and entertainment company, offers audiences the world's most differentiated and complete portfolio of content, brands and franchises across television, film, streaming and gaming. The new company combines WarnerMedia's premium entertainment, sports and news assets with Discovery's leading non-fiction and international entertainment and sports businesses.

Requirements

  • Must have 2 to 5 years cooking experience in a high-volume banquet facility, hotel/conference center, or fine dining restaurant, with a demonstrated ability to prep a grill, sauté, cook, and prepare sauces in a fast-paced environment.
  • A valid ServSAFE Food Handling Certificate is required. This demonstrates a commitment to the cleanliness of the kitchen areas, and commitment to food and physical safety.
  • Must have good verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule that may include working beyond the standard shift of approximately 8 hours per day. Working some weekends and holidays may be required.
  • Standard shift is approximately 8 hours per day, plus a 30-minute paid meal break, with a minimum of 6 hours worked.
  • Physical exertion requiring standing for long periods, walking, bending, lifting, carrying, cleaning kitchen equipment, and maneuvering heavy weights up to 50+ lbs.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare, cook, and serve food for the Food Services department, including Commissary and Special Events.
  • Assist at stations in the Commissary, ensuring a clean, sanitized, and organized workspace.
  • Support and follow instructions from First Cooks.
  • Properly close, wrap, label, and clean work areas in accordance with Food Services and health department protocols.
