Under the supervision of a Department of Food and Nutrition Services Supervisor or Manager, the Second Cook completes tasks as outlined in the job flow for daily position assigned. Requirements

  • Knowledge of food production, service and sanitation
  • Prior cooking experience in a healthcare facility

Nice To Haves

  • High School diploma, GED or equivalent
  • 3 to 4 years of related work experience

Responsibilities

  • Accurately and efficiently prepare, portion, cook, and present a variety of hot and/or cold food items for various meal periods: to include Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner and Special/Catered Events.
