We’re growing and looking for a driven and skilled SEC Reporting Manager to join us at our office in Dublin, CA. You will report to the Director, SEC Reporting and this key position will be responsible for the SEC reporting process, including quarter and year-end reporting, and ownership over equity accounting and EPS calculations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting with CPA license required.
  • 6+ years of relevant accounting experience, including a minimum of 3 years in corporate financial reporting, with expertise in equity accounting and EPS calculations.
  • Strong background with SEC filings (S-1,10K, 10Q, XBRL tagging) required
  • Have experience project process improvement (someone who understand or has done process improvement ie UAT testing and BRD)
  • Excellent project management skills and the ability to collaborate with management and others in the company. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal skills, and a great team player.
  • Self-starter with a proactive approach to problem identification and remediation solutions.
  • Superior attention to detail.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with public company stock administration and stock-based compensation expense reporting, and SEC reporting tools are preferred.
  • Prior Public accounting / audit experience with Big 4 highly desired.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare or review journal entries, accounting analyses, and reconciliations related to stock-based compensation, earnings per share, stock repurchases and other equity-based transactions .
  • Assist in the preparation of all SEC filings (Form 10Q, 10K, Proxy, etc.) including managing the review and approval process of all SEC filings with external auditors, senior management, legal counsel, disclosure committee and audit committee.
  • Prepare or review quarterly financial statements
  • Prepare or review disclosure checklists and ensure compliance with all GAAP and disclosure requirements.
  • Manage quarterly reporting checklists, auditor reviews to ensure timely completion of quarter-end reporting activities.
  • Support the annual audit and quarterly review activities with external auditors.
  • Stay up-to-date on changes to accounting standards and proactively identify potential impacts to the Company’s financial statements.
  • Monitor and revise procedures to ensure the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls.
  • Create and maintain process documentation namely Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
  • Ad hoc projects, analysis and reporting as required by management.
