Seasonal Worker V - Recreation Therapist

Job Description Department: Parks + Rec Grade: 099NM Salary: $18.00/hour Job Duties: Responsible for planning, developing and conducting daily classes in independent living skills, various recreation, and leisure time activities for approximately 120 clients each week. Prepares, and sends to the appropriate State and local officials, client evaluations and documentation of individual progress of those consumers, and provides work direction to volunteer staff. Conducts eight or nine three-hour class sessions each week, securing facilities through trade-out and partnership agreements. Minimum Qualifications: Minimum of three years minimum experience as a Recreational Therapist. Must possess a Missouri Class B CDL with appropriate endorsements or obtain within 6 months; be certified in First Aid and CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation). Requirements
