About The Position

East Cherry Creek Valley Water and Sanitation District (ECCV) has been sustaining our community by providing safe and reliable water since 1962. Sourced from the South Platte River and non-tributary aquifers, ECCV distributes water to approximately 65,000 customers in the eastern portions of the City of Centennial and unincorporated Arapahoe County. As the area has grown into a thriving district of homes, schools, and businesses, ECCV has been there, providing the water the community needs with excellence and efficiency. The Water Patrol positions are responsible for patrolling the District for active leaks and water violations.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must be able to safely operate vehicles and equipment, read, record, and interpret information.
Must be able to effectively communicate with other employees and the public.
Must possess a valid driver's license and pass a background check.
Anticipated schedules: (you must be available for one; schedules may be adjusted per the needs of the department): o 1st Schedule: Monday – Friday 6:00am to 11:00am and Saturday 6:30am to 3:00pm o 2nd Schedule: Monday – Friday 3:00pm to 8:00pm and Sunday 6:30am to 3:00pm

Responsibilities

Drives district vehicles to patrol district area neighborhoods for violations of water schedule/use.
Operates digital camera, captures violations, and downloads images to file.
Provides customers with water efficiency or other leak information.
Performs other miscellaneous tasks as needed.
