The Arizona Humane Society is looking for a dedicated and motivated Summer Camp Instructor to champion AHS's core values of Innovation, Compassion, and Excellence. This role involves providing a variety of unique learning opportunities during an intensive eight-week youth Summer Camp program. Instructors will act as an AHS ambassador, guiding youth ages 5-17 through various weeklong day camp program modules. The position is responsible for the safety, well-being, and engagement of AHS Summer Camp children through the facilitation of interpretive education programs. Instructors must be comfortable working independently, in small group settings, and as part of a larger team to implement classroom curriculum, and must handle and present live animals, including snakes and invertebrates. All Summer Camp Instructors will work cooperatively with volunteer Junior Camp Counselors and other departments to create a successful summer camp experience.
