About The Position

Join CDD’s PALS University Summer Work Experience Program (SWEP) as a Seasonal Student Worker, a paid, temporary summer position for students participating in Vocational Rehabilitation–supported work experiences. This opportunity provides hands-on job training in real-world settings while building foundational employment skills. This is a temporary, seasonal role designed specifically to support summer programming and does not extend beyond the program term. Requirements

  • High school junior or senior
  • Enrolled and recommended through Vocational Rehabilitation
  • Ability to follow directions and workplace expectations
  • Commitment to completing the full program term

Responsibilities

  • Participate in on-the-job and off-site training activities
  • Follow instructions from the Seasonal Support Professional
  • Maintain regular attendance and communicate schedule needs
  • Complete all required training and program activities
  • Follow safety guidelines and job site expectations
  • Dress appropriately for assigned work locations
