Seasonal Shipping Dock Worker
About The Position
Pay: $17.50/hr Shift: Monday-Friday, 7:00am-3:30pm, with overtime including Saturday (6:00am-4:30pm) Location: Indy North - 5550 W. 74th Street, Indianapolis, IN 46268 Job Type: Seasonal – not eligible for benefits Job Duration: This seasonal role is expected to last through the facility’s peak season. Requirements
- Previous warehouse, distribution, or logistics experience - required
- Basic math skills for accuracy in order picking
- Proven success working in fast-paced, physically demanding seasonal periods
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and stoop throughout duration of 8 to 10-hour shift
- Ability to communicate effectively in English (written and verbal) to be able to collaborate with team members and follow direction from leadership
Responsibilities
- Accurately label, sort, palletize, and wrap product for shipment
- Safely load product to correct carrier for shipment
- Communicate with supervisors regarding discrepancies, damage, or order issues
- This position requires continuous and repetitive lifting of boxes weighing 50lbs+
- Adherence to all safety policies – steel toes required
