Applicants for seasonal positions must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in the specific division they are applying to and must be deemed competent to work independently. The recruiting team will review applications and assist with the interview process. The role involves providing a wide range of diagnostic and therapeutic respiratory care services to both inpatients and outpatients across all age groups, from neonates to geriatrics.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience within the specific division being hired into and deemed competent to work independently
  • Graduation from a Respiratory Therapy Program
  • Current Florida Registered or Certified license
  • BLS certification
  • ACLS, PALS, and NRP prior to hire
  • Competencies, training and certifications as required by area of clinical specialty
  • Adequate visual and hearing senses to assess/detect changes in human physiological condition
  • Effective oral and written communication skills in the English language
  • Ability to perform effectively in fast paced, stressful environment

Nice To Haves

  • Registered (Licensure/Certification)
  • 1 year Acute Care and Nursery Experience

Responsibilities

  • Provide a variety of diagnostic and therapeutic respiratory care services, including oxygen therapy, therapeutic gas administration, chest physiotherapy, aerosol therapy, cardiopulmonary resuscitation, airway management, ventilator management, and acute (Respiratory) care services to both inpatients and outpatients of the institution, covering all age ranges from neonatal through geriatrics.
