About The Position

Part-Time Seasonal Research Assistant (flexible schedule) Are you interested in getting experience in research? Illinois Foundation Seeds Inc. (IFSI) is an independent company delivering the leading research, product development, licensing, and production for the seed industry’s sweet corn and field crops. Illinois Foundation Seeds, Inc. is seeking highly motivated individuals in Arlington, Wisconsin. This individual will help the sweet corn research team with seed processing, data collection, and other research activities. This position is ideal for a college student or anyone seeking part-time employment. IFSI can accommodate a flexible work schedule. Casual work setting.

Requirements

• Proficient written and oral communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Basic computer proficiency.
• Ability to travel to the Arlington station each day.
• Ability to work independently and as a team.
• May be required to lift up to 50 lbs. as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist Arlington team with packaging, drying, and shelling sweet corn seed.
• Assist Research Staff with data collection using IFSI research data program.
• Support and aid the Sweet Corn Team with various assignments as directed and as time allows.
