Job Summary: The Pull Tab Seller is responsible for selling pull tab games to guests in a friendly, accurate, and professional manner. This role provides excellent customer service, handles cash transactions responsibly, ensures compliance with all gaming regulations, and maintains a clean and organized work area. Responsible for supporting the Company’s mission, vision, and values by providing an unparalleled experience of fun and entertainment. This is a tipped position!

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Excellent guest service skills.
Basic math aptitude required.
Must possess the ability to work in a team-based environment.
Must be able to pass Canterbury Park’s pre-employment screening which includes a criminal background check, verification of work history, and credit check.
Must be able to attain a Minnesota Racing Commission (MRC) license.

Nice To Haves

6 months of money handling experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Responsible for maintaining a high degree of hospitality, as well as a positive and professional demeanor at all times.
Creates high levels of morale, fosters teamwork, inspires collaboration, and provides suggestions for growth to management.
Safeguard Canterbury Park’s assets and adhere to company internal controls, and policies and procedures.
Engages in a positive guest interaction while selling pull tabs to customers and out prizes up to prescribed amounts.
Verifies and reconciles bank with varying amounts, depending on assigned post.
Held accountable for accuracy, and maintain all appropriate account records for the sales of all pull-tab games.
Perform other duties as assigned.
