About The Position

Join the Useless Bay Pool Snack Shack team as a seasonal food server! You will be responsible for taking orders, serving delicious snacks and beverages to pool members and their guests and ensuring a clean and organized snack shack area. The ideal candidate should have excellent customer service skills, be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, and have a passion for providing a positive experience for our pool-going members. If you enjoy working in a fun and dynamic atmosphere and are eager to be part of a team that keeps our pool guests satisfied and refreshed, we would love to have you on board!

Requirements

Previous experience as server in a similar restaurant environment
Ability to perform essential functions on the computerized Point of Sale system
Working knowledge of dining and beverage service procedures
Working knowledge of applicable liquor laws and regulations
Necessary State Food Handler’s License(s). MAST card required if serving alcohol

Responsibilities

Takes orders and serves food and beverage items to guests in accordance with established standards
Enters orders into computerized Point of Sale system and communicates any special requests to the culinary team
Assembles food items, such as appetizers, salads and soups
Ensures attractive, consistent presentation of food and beverages. Ensures that all food and beverage items are served at the correct temperature
Maintains current knowledge of food and beverage offerings, including menu changes and sold-out items
Processes guest payments, using proper accounting and cash handling procedures
Keeps work area, including guest dining area, clean and organized

Benefits

Hourly Pay Range: $18.00 to $20.00
