About The Position
Position assists Park crew members in various capacities on a seasonal basis.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license required.
- Ability to understand and follow oral or written instructions.
- Ability to maintain effective working relations with employees and general public.
- Willingness to work in unpleasant weather conditions.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to safely operate equipment as directed.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in turf maintenance and mowing is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Cuts weeds and trims trees along county roads and in county parks.
- Assists in maintaining related county buildings and grounds.
- Operates air tools or light equipment.
- Assists with work in county shop.
- Assists with set up for park events such as fairs, craft shows, livestock shows, large meetings, etc
- Performs related work as directed.
